Weekly Photo Challenge: On the Move

This week we are challenged to post an image that represents being on the move. Technically I could post a picture a day for this prompt.

Leaving San Diego via Point Loma
Into the Sunset…

When you live on a boat, it is absolutely impossible to not be moving. We’re always in transit, or on the verge of going somewhere. It may be that I’m the child of divorced parents who lived in two different provinces (Quebec & Ontario) and I spent so many hours in transit between the two cities – today I find I am always poised for departure.

I married a man who is just like me. Since we’ve been together, we have either been managing a race car operation where we lived on the road 10 months per year, or have been living on a boat.

«I hated myself for going, why couldn’t I be the kind of person who stays?»
Jonathan Safran Foer

  1. You are a perpetual motion MACHINE. This photo depicts the serene side of that, but we all know there can also be a happy chaos to your transient life. Either way, on some level, those of us who rarely GO are a little bit envious of you. In a good way!

It's not a monologue if you leave me a comment.
