Roller Derby: A 3-Word Story

Robert Frost one said, “In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on.”  We want you to do the same.  Sum up anything you want, but do it in three words.  Your response should mirror Frost’s quote by beginning, “In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about–.”

At the age of 45 (I still shudder when I see that digit) I started playing roller derby. Not only did I start derby, but I also sailed to Mexico with my husband for 8 months, lived off the hook as they say and started paddleboarding. 1. You go, girl!!! Impressive. Also, you have lived my dream which is sailing for an extended period of time. My husband and I are thinking about buying a sailboat to do just the same but every winter for years. Do you recommend?

  2. I like the idea, but the last time I was on skates, I found out I was too old (the bruise on my backside made sitting painful for a couple weeks.)

Good for you for trying Roller Derby – that’s great!
